Fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in our skin. It’s a gel-like substance that is safely injected underneath the skin to restore loss of volume due to ageing, enhance facial features, and help create a more youthful appearance. While fillers are very effective and long-lasting, they are not permanent. Fillers are absorbable by the body and its results last between 6-10 months.
Types of fillers
Lip fillers
This is a non-invasive procedure that is suited to anyone looking to get fuller lips. Due to ageing, most people lose volume in their lips. Lip fillers can be used to restore the volume that was once there. Lip filler can also be used to correct asymmetry and add volume to match their upper or lower lip.
Cheek fillers
Cheek fillers are injections that elevate the volume of the area above and around your cheekbones. This provides the illusion of a more well-defined bone structure. Cheek fillers can also smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
Under-eye filler
The delicate skin below our eyes has a tendency to become puffy and darker, especially as we age. This sensitive area requires very specific treatment. Under-eye filler is injected into the eye area to increase the volume and fill in any sunken area, reduce puffiness and minimize the appearance of dark circles.
